Nathan Jokovich is a Melbourne based visual artist who uses a multifaceted approach to explore what it means to paint and how we interact with images in the post internet era, where image is synonymous with screen culture and digitisation. In navigating this terrain, Jokovich is interested in retaining the tactile nature of paint and the experimental process of abstract painting (IRL), whilst embracing the tools and platforms for circulation, viewing and communication that the digital affords.

His interest in Artificial Intelligence, communication, code and the interplay between the virtual and reality, whilst referencing the historicity of painting itself, presents dynamic prospects for future work.
